Shelly and I sat down for a special interview with Christopher Dolan, president and executive editor of “America's Newspaper” The Washington Times, a great daily newspaper, to discuss what’s going on in the media today and how we can overcome social media’s control of the news and the narrative.

I asked Chris what makes the Washington Times so different… His answer was refreshing and straightforward…

“The Washington Times differs from mainstream media organizations because we differentiate between news and opinion,” Chris said. “We give our readers straight, unbiased information so they can make clear decisions based on the facts.”

Freedom, faith, and family are the motto of the paper, so the Washington Times has a strong connection with people of faith… Something the country needs more of… especially in the war against Big Tech/government censorship.

As more and more people gravitate to digital media, getting the truth out is challenging, especially when Big Tech censors, bans, and buries you in search engines.

“We’re working with schools, local colleges, and big universities to get our content in front of young people,” Chris said. “That’s how you can get the truth out to a generation that’s getting bias news and hearing only one side or one type of opinion.”

Changing Hollywood: Family-Friendly Movies and Christian Movies Are Big Box Office Hits—How Your Movie Choices Shape What Hollywood Puts Out

In today’s world, it’s hard for families to find good wholesome entertainment that the whole family can enjoy.

Today’s podcast discusses the growing trend for more family entertainment and the popularity of Christian-themed movies.

I sat down and interviewed my good friend Ted Baehr, the Founder and publisher of MovieGuide, to discuss how he is helping to bring a spiritual change to entertainment.

I started the interview by thanking Ted for his movie guide, which was a big help to me when my kids were young… It helped me steer them clear of inappropriate movies and helped me pick good, family-friendly films and movies with good Christian values that we could all watch as a family.

Naturally, I had to ask him how he started his mission to change Hollywood… which is no small task.

“My parents were movie stars, so I grew up without Christian values or religion,’ Ted said. “I was on drugs and screwed up… Then in the mid-1970s, I met this woman from the Billy Graham ministry, who introduced me to Jesus and the bible. Soon after, I decided I needed to try to clean up Hollywood. That’s when I developed the MovieGuide.”

Ted explained how he grew his organization to work with Hollywood studios and producers to create more family-friendly entertainment… and the box office has shown that this formula is a success.

“I wanted to change Hollywood,” Ted said, “And with the MovieGuide, it worked… like your VoterGuide… When audiences vote, and they do this at the box office with the movies they chose to see, it impacts what Hollywood and even the streaming companies put out. If you support more family-friendly films, that’s what Hollywood will make… If you support films with violence, nudity, and foul language, that’s what they will put out. So, we’re helping change the nature of Hollywood.”

Divided Nation: Why There’s a Generational Loss for the Church… How to Stop it… And How to Turn Things Around

This podcast discusses the generational loss in churches nationwide and why it’s happening.

I sat down for a special interview with Ken Ham about what’s causing this generational loss in our churches and its effect on our culture.

Ken Ham is the CEO and Founder of Answers in Genesis, the popular Creation Museum, and the world-renowned Ark Encounter.

Every generation, there has been a decline in church attendance—a generational loss.

My first question for Ken was, “Why do only 8% of Millennials and Generation Z attend church… what’s causing this massive drop in attendance?"

Ken’s answer was right to the point…

He talked about how there is an attack on God from the government, schools, and media… But more importantly, he said, “It’s a lack of conviction from the church and their abandonment of Genesis.”

“Genesis 1:11 is the foundation of everything,” Ken said. “But the Darwinian theory of evolution has taken over and is the only theory being taught in schools—but even worse, the church has watered down the meaning and impact of Genesis by trying to square it with Darwin’s Theory of Evolution.”

Genesis 1:11 explains everything, especially today’s pressing issues:

God created marriage, not Biden or the Supreme Court.

Gender—God created man and woman.

Racism—We’re all the decedents of Adam and Eve—there’s only 1 race.

Abortion—We’re killing a human being made in God’s image.

How To Be An Influencer: Spreading God’s Word And Your Faith Through The Internet

This podcast discusses how you can become a Christian influencer and share your passion for Jesus with others.

Shelly and I sat down for a special interview with Laura Woodworth to discuss how she became a Christian influencer and teaches others to do the same.

Laura Woodworth is an award-winning film and TV producer, media and communications professional, and Christian author. She actively communicates, coaches, and trains others to be Christian influencers. She is also the author of Effective Writing for Ministry and Business and the author/editor of multiple books and study guides.

I asked Laura how someone, who may not be tech-savvy, gets started on the internet to “share their faith with the world.” Her answer was both simple and yet profound…

“Have a passion for Jesus,” she said. “In order to mobilize a force through digital social media, you must have a passion for sharing your faith.”

She explained that the way she got started was to learn about the use of “keywords” and how that research opened the doors to her reaching hundreds of thousands of people.

“Once you find out what your audience is searching for… it could be a question like, ‘Does God listen to my prayers?’, you can write about it and help provide your insights and experiences.”

As a marketing professional, I know that one of the best ways to reach and grow an audience through social media is to understand and use keywords and search engine optimization (SEO) to grow your audience and to be number one in internet search results.

Refugees: Desperate Need and What You Should Know and Can Do

The podcast discusses how Christians are suffering in Ukraine and around the world.

In this podcast, Shelly and I interview Jalil Dawood, who knows firsthand people who've been torn from their homes because of war, famine, or poverty… and persecuted because of their faith.

Dawood fled his homeland in Iraq in 1982 during the war with Iran.

After beginning a new life in the United States, Jalil made it his mission to help other refugees.

I asked Jalil what we could do to help Ukrainian refugees, and his answer was not quite what I expected… he said:

"The Lord hears us, and he knows. Prayer is important, and we all need to do that, but by helping, we become the Lord's hand. Whether it's donating clothes, food, money, or by actually going to Ukraine through a missionary – whatever you can do. And if you can't do that, talk to your pastor about your church supporting refugees."

This is certainly a time for the church to mobilize and pray and supply financial resources to help these suffering people caught in this horrible war.

Evil Socialist Agenda: Our Children, Our Schools, and Our Country Are at Stake-- What Every Parent and Grandparent Should Know… [A Must-Hear Podcast You Won’t Want to Miss.]

This is one of the most important podcasts I've ever done.

The podcast discusses how the teacher's unions are the force behind the idealized, Marxist/Socialist indoctrination of our kids and how we can fight back against this bureaucratic Goliath and win.

In this podcast, I interview Rebecca Friedrichs. She was a public school teacher for 28 years, and during her tenure, she was forced to fund state and national teachers' unions whose politics and divisive tactics made her feel personally and professionally degraded.

She sued the California Teacher's Association (CTA) and the National Education Association. The lawsuit, Friedrichs v California Teachers' Association, sought to free teachers from forced unionism and went all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court-- The Court ruled 5 to 4 in Rebecca's favor.

I asked Rebecca, right out of the gate, "how we lost control of the schools and how the unions took over"… Her answer was startling and chilling.

"We lost our way in the education system," Rebecca said. "The Founders told us the only way to keep a free republic is with a well-educated, moral citizenry that can then self-govern, which we had until about 100 years ago. A group of Marxists formed the teachers union and usurped our educational system. And over the years, they have undermined and weakened it and replaced it with socialist indoctrination, revisionist history, anti-capitalism, and anti-Americanism."
