With companies like Target, Nike, and North Face going all out for Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG), Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), and LGBTQ radical agenda, it seems that it’s harder and harder to invest in companies that share your values…
But there is one organization that is helping people screen out companies that are supporting woke ESG, DEI, and radical/socialist LGBTQ agendas.
In this week’s podcast, I sat down for a special interview with Shana Burt of the Financial Issues Ministry.
I asked Shana what listeners should do in this volatile economy if they want to invest but are afraid to…
Shana said, “God tells us not to worry. The earth and all that we built are the Lord’s, and we are but stewards.”
Shana went on to say that her mission is to help people to defund darkness [companies that serve radical politics over profits] and invest in the light [companies that reflect Biblical values].
“We screen good companies for you,” she said, “And let you know which ones you should avoid—the ones focused on radical woke LGBTQ, ESG, and DEI agendas.”
Anyone listening to this insightful podcast will benefit from what Shana Burt has to say.
Here are just a few of the topics we discuss during the podcast:
- Biblically Responsible Investing vs. ESG/DEI Investing
- How to invest in Companies that share your Christian values
- How to weed out Wall Street “wokeness”
- How to identify companies funding LGBTQ issues and employee abortions
- How to hedge your investments against Inflation and Stagflation
The podcast touches on these topics and so much more.
Shana Burt uses a uniquely holistic approach to financial planning – helping investors to define, plan for, and implement strategies to meet their individual financial goals in a way that honors their morals and faith.
The Interview is about 20 minutes long.

If it seems like all of the advances in race relations we’ve made since Dr. Martin Luther King gave his now-famous “I Have a Dream” speech have been completely erased, you are right… to a degree.
Radical-socialist organizations, government bureaucrats, schools, colleges, politicians, and the mainstream media are pushing a race agenda in the form of Marxist and hateful Critical Race Theory (CRT) that’s dividing the races and the nation.
However, there are groups fighting back against this evil agenda.
In this week’s podcast, Shelly and I sat down for a special interview with Dr. Alveda King, the niece of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr, to talk about race relations in the country and the Christian solution to the growing divide.
I asked Dr. King, “How can we overcome the growing racial divide in this country when Schools are teaching CRT, and politicians are calling for reparations for African Americans?”
Her answer was simple, straightforward, and profound…
“The answer is in Acts 17: 25-26; ‘… seeing He giveth to all life and breath, and all things, And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth…’”
She went on to explain, “There is no racial divide in scripture. We must resist the devil and overcome evil with good. The only way to dispel evil is by speaking Truth.”
“When we divide people by race, income, sexuality, politics, we move away from God’s intentions—God loves the world and the people without categories,” she said.
Anyone listening to this insightful podcast will benefit from what Dr. King has to say.
Here are just a few of the topics we discuss during the podcast:
- How to preach Gracism vs. Racism
- How Christians must learn not just to love and have compassion—They must listen
- How it’s okay to see colors but must understand we are of one blood—Human
- How to speak Truth and Light, not preach without understanding
The podcast touches on these topics and so much more.
Dr. Alveda King’s new book, We're Not Colorblind: Healing the Racial Divide, delves deeper into the topic we discuss in this podcast.
You can order it on Amazon, however, if you’d like a signed copy, you can order the book through Dr. King’s website, www.alvedaking.com.
The Interview is about 15 minutes long.

As technology becomes more and more a part of our lives, we sometimes get caught up in technology in a bad way, like being too self-absorbed on apps like Instagram and TikTok.
But there is one app I personally use daily – YouVersion, produced by Pray.com.
In this week’s podcast, Shelly and I sat down for a special interview with Michael Lynn, the president of pray.com. Pray.com provides Bible-based content that makes Bible Stories come to life.
Pray.com is the largest and fastest-growing prayer app. Over 14 million people have downloaded their app, and over 30 million have downloaded their podcasts.
They have great content for adults and kids—it’s an app for all ages.
Michael was excited to inform everybody about a new clinical study funded by Pray.com, proving that faith-based content has a material benefit for a person’s mental health… Prayer heals the mind and the soul—something Christians have known all along.
Anyone listening to this insightful podcast will benefit from what Michael Lynn has to say.
Here are just a few of the topics we discuss during the podcast:

The Church and Tech: Can Christians Use Artificial Intelligence to Advance the Gospel?
Wednesday Jun 07, 2023
Wednesday Jun 07, 2023
As I’ve been discussing, AI can be a blessing… a curse… a horror story.
I use AI in my advertising agency in a variety of ways. And I’ve found AI not to be correct, often creating misinformation based on its biased programming.
But can it be used to spread the Gospel and help Christians be more effective?
This week’s podcast discusses how Christians should learn about the pros and cons of AI and be informed about the technology before using it to advance the gospels.
Shelly and I sat down for a special interview with James Spencer to discuss how AI can be used for good or for evil.
James explained how he’s using AI to help tutor students, which is one of the benefits of AI… However, he warned that broad-based use of AI, that’s “out there” for the general public could be used in bad ways, like for dispersing misinformation… or worse.
Anyone listening to this insightful podcast will benefit from what James Spencer has to say.
Here are just a few of the topics we discuss during the podcast:
- How flaws in data can cause flaws in AI
- What we can do to protect ourselves from scammers using AI technology
- How Blockchain technology can provide protection from AI
- How we can reap the benefits of AI and minimize the risks
- How AI can advance the Gospel
The podcast touches on these topics and so much more.
James Spencer is a theologian and Christian leader who helps individuals and organizations ask and answer the necessary questions so that they can move from where they are to where God desires them to be. He currently serves as President of D. L. Moody Center, an independent non-profit organization dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel and challenging God’s people to follow Jesus. James’ new book, Christian Resistance, is available on Amazon.
The Interview is about 12 minutes long.

This week’s podcast discusses how radical socialist groups target Christian Businesses, sue them, and force them to go against their values.
Shelly and I sat down for a special interview with Emilee Carpenter and Lorie Smith, two business owners that are both fighting court cases that ruled against their religious values and Christian conscious.
Emilee Carpenter is a photographer. When she was asked to photograph a same-sex wedding, she politely declined. She was sued and lost the case with a judicial activist judge. She now faces penalties for violating the New York State law, which includes fines of up to $100,000, a revoked business license, and up to a year in jail.
Lorie Smith is a website designer that creates custom-designed art for her clients. She explained that she has clients “from all walks of life.” Including LGBTQ clients. However, when she was asked to create a custom site for gay marriage, she declined because it went against her religious values… She was sued and has been battling in court for over 7 years.
Shelly and I were impressed with these women with such amazing faith, strength, and courage.
They are fighting a spiritual battle. They need our prayers and support.
I know that anyone listening to this insightful podcast will benefit from what these brave Christian business owners have to say.
Here are just a few of the topics we discuss during the podcast:
- How states are creating laws to force people to go against their religious beliefs and values
- How all business owners and artists should have liberty and freedom to create what they want—not what they are told or forced to do by the state
- How free speech is at stake
- How the Supreme Court’s upcoming decision will impact free speech
The podcast touches on these topics and so much more.
The Interview is about 10 minutes long.

This week's podcast discusses how one radical socialist group is spreading hate and helping the government target Conservatives, Republicans, Libertarians, and Christians.
Shelly and I sat down for a special interview with Tyler O'Neil of The Daily Signal to discuss the little-known and secretive Southern Poverty Law Center's (SPLC) war on free speech and how they work with the government to label Conservatives as "haters," parents fighting racist Critical Race Theory (CRT) as "domestic terrorists," Christians as "extremists," and MAGA supporters as "white supremacists."
Tyler explained how the SPLC attacks anyone who disagrees with their political views and how their false accusations have cost individuals and organizations millions and destroy their reputations.
Anyone listening to this insightful podcast will benefit from what Tyler O'Neil has to say.
Here are just a few of the topics we discuss during the podcast:
- How the SPLC gets hotels, social media, and credit card companies to blacklist law-abiding Conservative and Libertarian Americans who fall under the SPLC's bullseye
- How the SPLC influences local, state, and federal bureaucracies, politicians, and the military
- How the SPLC uses its $730 million endowment to hire and create other "hate group" organizations to attack Conservatives and anyone they disagree with
- How SPLC works with social media, the mainstream media, and Big Tech to get credibility and spread their disinformation
- How SPLC influences search engines like Google to list SPLC's hate articles and ratings over the organizations they are bashing
- How Americans can fight back against the SPLC's hate
The podcast touches on these topics and so much more.
In addition to being Managing Editor of The Daily Signal, O'Neil has written for numerous outlets, including Fox News Digital, PJ Media, The Christian Post, National Review, The Washington Free Beacon, and more.
