In this episode, Shelly and I interview Luke Moon at the National Religious Broadcasters Conference.
Luke is the Deputy Director of the Philos Project, an organization that supports Christians and Jews who are persecuted. He is also an ordained Southern Baptist minister.
“Why aren’t we doing more to help Christians who are being persecuted?” That’s the first question I asked our guest, who gave a powerful answer, “I asked my pastor the very same question… He didn’t have a good answer. That’s when I quoted Paul, ‘…do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.’”
As Christians, it’s our duty to support Christians in need and who are being brutally treated in other countries. However, many of us fall short.
Jews support Jews. Muslims support Muslims, but Christians are often indifferent to the plight of other Christians.
In the podcast, we discuss the persecution of Christians in the Middle East, the plight of Christians in Ukraine, the rise of antisemitism in the United States, and so much more.
